With professional dog trainers, they sometimes do a special method wherein they try to mimic the reaction of the puppy’s mother whenever it bites in order to show them that what they are doing is socially unacceptable. Since social acceptability is also a factor to a puppy’s growth then you must also try to socialize your dog around its environment and with other dogs and people once in a while.
Another method that you can use in order to stop puppy biting is by redirecting their biting efforts through a chew toy or anything that may entertain their biting instincts. But it is still important that the diversion is implemented upon letting them know that biting is only allowed with the toy and not on other things.
