Training a Puppy to Stop Biting
The most important trait that a well trained and respectable should have is the ability to resist biting. Bite inhibition is actually a response that your dog should consciously learn and prevent.

The Process to Stop Puppy Biting
When puppy training biting, you should use the same approach that the mother and the littermates apply. When he bites hard, make sure you make it known and it must stop. Simply get up and walk away.
You can start with playing with your puppy. Once his attention is on your hands, and he starts biting too hard, react that you are hurt, and then stop all the interaction taking place. Avoid looking at the puppy to avoid feeling sorry from him. He should know that you are serious about stopping the play.
The response should always be short, but firm. Do not whine or wince because he may think that the game is still on, and that will defeat the purpose of the lesson. After a few minutes, you can go back to your puppy.
If he continues biting, then repeat what you have done and walk away from him. After which, you may offer them a chew toy. If he does not pay attention on the toy, and still places focus on biting on you, leave him again. As you continue this process regularly, he will know what he should be avoiding to continue playing with you.
The initial goal should be to lessen the force of his bite, and then, its frequency. A problem you may encounter with puppy training biting is if he is never allowed even a light bite, when there is sudden stress, he may react with a very strong bite that can seriously hurt someone, even if unintentionally.
Bite inhibition is a very important training for your dog. When your puppy or dog is trained to control biting, he learns the important lesson of both patience and control.
